Stretchy pants

Finally got the two pairs of maternity pants back form getting them hemmed last night and today I am wondering why we don't wear elastic waistbands to work normally? I mean you sit all day and pants dig in; I could really get behind this! They make them so well you can't even tell with a longer shirt. As much as I have hated the idea of spending money on cloths that will only last a few months (and their is really not a good market for second hand; I looked) the time has come; the days of unbuttoned pants have come to end for me; since I am half way through  I can try and accept it. I did get a wicked deal on some cute skinny jeans that don't even look maternity so looking forward to wearing them this weekend.
